Raegan Strause, RSPS

Administrative Director

Raegan has an extensive background in nursing, coaching and recovery. As the daughter of a head coach and teacher, Raegan understands the value of discipline in achieving goals. She also knows, firsthand, the destruction that addiction can bring, as well as the path out of that destruction.

While working at a healthcare clinic, Raegan discovered that underprivileged people have very few options regarding recovery. While she was able to refer many people to specialists for various other matters, she realized that those who dealt with substance abuse had nowhere to go. Two of the biggest barriers that they faced were lack of insurance and extended wait times.

Raegan struggled with addiction for 18 years. Through her own personal life experiences, Raegan has demonstrated that recovery and long term sobriety is attainable, with the right resources. She has a firm belief that recovery is bolstered by both physical and mental health.

Raegan’s desire is for others to experience the benefits and freedom of long term recovery like she has. Her contagious smile, encouraging optimism and steadfast passion for her own recovery makes her a critical member and valuable asset of our team.

I have played in front of 7,000 people in France, that feeling doesn’t compare to seeing the life come back in the eyes of an addict.

Bob Strause, RSPS

Executive Director

Bob has worked in the recovery field since 2018. After a seemingly perpetual journey of drug and alcohol abuse that lasted 35 years, Bob officially got sober in 2017. At that moment, he decided to devote his life to closing the gap between the desire to get help and successful recovery. He found his passion in working with addicts and alcoholics to help them achieve the long-term sobriety that has changed his own life.

Before beginning his journey in recovery, Bob had various other talents – all of which he now hopes to incorporate into his recovery efforts. Bob is a talented musician. As the lead singer of The Pear Ratz, he has traveled around the world playing music with his band. Bob is also a master cabinetmaker and fourth generation carpenter. His goal is to bring his talents into recovery. He plans to use his musical skills for music therapy to create a healing environment. He also plans to teach carpentry skills, which people can take with them after treatment.

Ever since he began working with mostly indigent addicts and alcoholics, Bob has seen the difficulty of placing those without insurance into treatment. He has also seen the lack of opportunity for employment and housing. With most treatment centers releasing people after only 30 days, many people are left with very few options for success.

Bob has a desire to offer underprivileged people the same kind of high quality treatment that is offered at first-class recovery centers. He has made it his life’s mission to see that treatment is available and sobriety is attainable for everyone. For the last two years, Bob has worked in the public defender’s office as an advocate for clients with mental health and substance use struggles. Bob’s zeal for recovery is unparalleled and ensures success in all facets of his career.
